You will learn about this quest by reading a note after interacting with a notice board in Velen. When Geralt encounters Margrit later on, he says he changed his mind.You must find and attack a group of wolves in the forest. She says Geralt should look for Hanna no more as she's surely dead. He goes to the forest and finds a pack of wolves.
